4. Mail the completed Registration Form to:
Vanderkamp Center, 337 Martin Road, Cleveland, NY 13042.
5. Shortly after the registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation packet, including lots of additional information and a health form.

Special Rates

1. Early Bird – Mail your registration and pay the registration fees in full on or before May 4th  to qualify for these rates.
2. ECA Church Member – Members of congregations belonging to the Presbytery of Utica, the Presbytery of Cayuga-Syracuse, or the Upstate NY Synod of the ELCA qualify for these rates.
3. Early Bird and ECA Rate Combination -- If both scenarios apply to your camper, you qualify for the combo rate.

Camperships

Through the generosity of local churches and individuals, limited campership funding is available to families that need assistance to participate in our camping programs. Please call 315-675-3651 for additional information. Families wanting to support the Campership Fund may do so by indicating so on the front of this application and including a gift with your registration.

Refunds

Full refunds are issued only for cancellations due to documented medical reasons or death in the family. Partial refunds (loss of registration fee) are offered for cancellations that occur more than three weeks prior to the start of a program. Except as noted above, there is no refund for cancellations that occur within three weeks of the start of a program.

Health & Safety

Your child’s health and safety are of primary concern to us. Here are some of the steps we take to help insure a safe camp experience for everyone:

  • Our staff participates in an intensive pre-camp training program.
  • All activities are led by staff who have received appropriate training and/or certification.
  • All staff members submit references testifying to their suitability to work with children, and are subject to screening that includes a voluntary disclosure statement, and a criminal background check.
  • Our Health Director is on-site at all times.
  • All medicines are stored and dispensed under the supervision of the Health Director.
  • A current health history, including a physical exam, is required for all campers.
  • We are licensed and inspected by the New York State Health Department.

All persons regardless of race, national origin, age, sex, color, or disability, are welcome to attend Vanderkamp Center on a first come, first registered basis.
