Pterodactyl sighting at Summer Camp!
No game at summer camp is more outrageous than Pterodactyl. Not because of any wild physical activity. No – Pterodactyl takes place on the ground. Not because of any costumes – Pterodactyl is a “come as you are” sort of game. You won’t get wet during Pterodactyl. You won’t have to sing. You will have to wrap your lips around your teeth and scream “Pterodactyl” without laughing, and you might have to make a Pterodactyl noise to reverse the circle. Do you think this camper is about to laugh? Getting stuck between James and Kyle during Pterodactyl has sent many a camper to the sidelines!
And a bonus photo! Bad news for Meg in this one…I don’t think she’s going to make it without laughing!!!
The Vanderkamp Center is a Christian Summer Camp located in Central New York near Syracuse, Utica, and Rome. Head over to our Summer Camp page to register for this year! If you’re curious about our philosophy, go check out our articles on “The Vanderkamp Method.” We are also a retreat center if that interests you. See you this summer!
